• What kind of gold can I buy?

Blanchard and Company, Inc. offers the purest, most highly regarded American and foreign gold bullion coins, such as the gold American Eagle and the Austrian Vienna Philharmonic, as well as two of the most highly prized investment grade gold coins available, the Saint-Gaudens $20 “double eagle” and the $20 Liberty gold coins. • How can I get the best price?

  Just as stock prices can change in an instant, gold bullion prices also fluctuate daily or even hourly. The bullion prices on our website are updated constantly Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm* CST. These bullion prices are based on the market price of the metals. You never pay more than the going market price plus a small premium for minting and distribution.

• How do I pay for my gold?

  Phone orders: Call 1-800-880-4653. Upon confirmation of order and pricing, you may pay by: bank wire transfer (preferred), personal or business check, credit card (non-bullion coins only), or cashiers check/money order.

  Online coin orders (not including bullion): We accept American Express, Mastercard, VISA and Discover. We also offer a “Bill Me” payment option with four ways to pay (see “Bill Me” below).

  Online bullion orders: We do not accept credit cards for bullion purchases. You may choose from four ways to pay with our “Bill Me” payment option (below).

  1. Bank wire transfer (preferred): The fastest way to receive your product. In-stock products are mailed on our next ship date. You must complete your bank’s wire transfer application.

  2. Personal or business check: We age (hold) checks for 7 business days before shipping products; however, your price is not affected. Make checks payable to: Blanchard and Company, Inc. and enter your Blanchard Account Number in the memo field of your check.

  3. Credit card (non-bullion coin orders only): We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. (We do not accept credit card payments for bullion purchases.)

  4. Cashiers check or money order: We age (hold) cashiers checks and money orders for three business days before shipping products; however, your price is not affected. Make cashiers check/money order payable to: Blanchard and Company, Inc. and enter your Blanchard Account Number in the memo field.

• Once I place my order, what happens?

  Your exact shipping date is determined once funds have cleared. Orders containing bullion are delivered four to six weeks after funds have cleared and rare coin orders three to four weeks after funds have cleared. We ship your order by registered, insured U.S. Mail. In our years of experience, we’ve found this to be the safest, most convenient, and most economical method. Because of this added security, you’ll need to sign for the package when it’s delivered. Should you be unavailable when the postman tries to deliver your order, you’ll receive a delivery notification slip that allows you to pick up your order at the nearest U.S. Post Office. Your order is fully insured and will never be left unsecured.

• What should I do with my gold when it arrives?

  We recommend that fully inspect your products upon delivery, and put your gold in a secure location, preferably under lock and key.

• What’s the best way to store my gold?

  Blanchard and Company, Inc. offers an excellent option for safely and conveniently storing your gold with The Security Center, one of the most technologically advanced private depositories in the nation. A Blanchard and Company, Inc. Account Executive can refer you to The Security Center. When you have opened your own deposit box and authorized delivery, Blanchard and Company, Inc. will deliver your gold to the vault at no charge, except in cases of excessive weight or where third-party expenses are incurred.
