Blanchard and Company, Inc. is the largest and most respected retailer of American rare coins and precious metals in the United States, serving more than 375,000 people with expert consultation and assistance in the acquisition of American numismatic rarities and gold, silver and platinum bullion. Donald W. Doyle, Jr.
Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and sole shareholder

Donald W. Doyle, Jr. has been the Chairman, CEO, and sole shareholder of Blanchard and Company, Inc. since October 5, 1991, when he purchased the company from Allegiance Capital Partners, an investment partnership whose primary partner was General Electric Capital Corporation. He was the company’s CEO prior to acquiring it, joining on June 30, 1988.

From 1993-95, Doyle served as the Chairman of the Industry Council for Tangible Assets, a precious metals industry organization that includes banks, mining companies, brokerage firms, wholesale and retail dealers and industry groups such as the World Gold Council and the Platinum Guild International. He has been President of the Coalition for Equitable Regulation and Taxation, which successfully supported legislation allowing individuals to hold gold in their IRAs, since its inception in 1996.

Since December of 1984, Doyle has been a general partner in Newport Enterprises, a Limited Partnership. Newport and its related entities are the owners and developers of 1,200 acres in Orleans and St. Bernard Parishes, in Louisiana, 700 of which have been designated as the Foreign Trade Zone for the Port of New Orleans. Since 1975, Doyle has been a founder and director of Associated Commodity Specialists, Ltd. and Commodity Specialists GMbh, which manage foreign investments in the U.S. commodity markets.

From 1966-80, Doyle was a partner in the New Orleans law firm of Doyle, Smith and Doyle. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967-70 and left with the rank of Captain after serving two tours of duty in Vietnam.

Doyle attended the University of Notre Dame and Tulane University Law School, from which he received a J.D. degree with honors in 1966. He is a member of the American, Louisiana and New Orleans Bar Associations.

Michael E. McGoey
President & Chief Operating Officer

Michael E. McGoey has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of Blanchard and Company, Inc. since 2003. As COO, McGoey provides leadership, guidance and oversight to the Accounting, Human Resources, Information Systems, Vault Operations and Trading departments. He facilitates banking relationships, the provision of capital and maintenance of vendor credit relationships. He establishes plans and procedures for the control of operations and evaluates interim operating activities.

Prior to joining Blanchard and Company, Inc. in 1999 as Chief Financial Officer, McGoey held a variety of operational and financial management positions. He has been CFO and a member of Boards of Directors of both public and private companies. He joined Chemfix Technologies, Inc. in 1983 as Controller and was promoted to Senior Vice-President and CFO in 1985, serving in this capacity until 1996. From 1996 to 1999, he was the Senior Vice-President and CFO of Gulf South Systems, Inc. From 1976 to 1983, he was Vice-President of Operations and Controller with Select Brands, Inc.

McGoey is a seasoned, skilled financial and operations manager with demonstrated success in evaluating and completing public offerings, financial agreements and credit facilities. He is expert in financial planning, modeling, and has completed numerous acquisitions as well as divestitures. He received a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1971, with graduate work in the M.B.A. program.

L. Craig Baudot
Executive Vice President of Sales

L. Craig Baudot began working as an Account Executive for Blanchard and Company, Inc. in 1986, and his dedication and passion for the business prompted the company to promote him to Sales Manager in 1991. In 2001, he was promoted to his current position of Executive Vice President of Sales. Craig's experience and knowledge of the precious metals and numismatic industries make him one of the most qualified sales professionals in the country. Baudot attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La., and he is a native of South Louisiana.

David Beahm
Vice President and Director of Marketing and Economic Research

David Beahm is a graduate of the University of New Orleans with a master’s degree in business administration from Ellis College in New York. He began his career with the Whitney National Bank and moved to Blanchard and Company Inc. in January of 2005. Beahm now serves as the Vice President and Director of Marketing and Economic Research.
